I'm married to a wonderful man named Duane. Strangely enough we met online. AOL brings people together, folks ;)

We have a 6 year old daughter named Lyric and a 1 1/2 yr old daughter named Winter. For the past year, I have worked as an elementary school nurse but I just recently accepted a position in another department. I will be working as a community health nurse, visiting at risk pregnant women and newborns. I'm excited and hope to become certified as a childbirth educator and maybe start working towards certification as a lactation consultant.

My husband is currently taking his pre-reqs for nursing school. He wants to work in the OR. We are looking forward to leaving Pensacola after he graduates, not sure where yet. We can't wait!

I'm starting this livejournal to keep track of my interests, update people where necessary, and just let off some steam from time to time =)

I suppose this is the part where I'm supposed to list quirky facts about myself, so let me see....

I'm a huge nerd. I would spend time thinking how cool it would be to be a "hacker." Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately, I'm clueless when it comes to anything more complicated than Microsoft Word.

I swore off One Life to Live after they gave Todd the lethal injection and they were able to bring him back. You can't do that!!!

I like to make weird jokes with my daughter like make her a glass of apple juice, then ask her if it's good, and then say ..."Well, it's pee." All the while, I'm laughing hysterically.

I know that in almost any romance novel if I flip to page 100-110 there will be a steamy sex scene. It's pathetic but so true.

Also....I piss excellence!
